Lucky break

When you get a lucky break, take advantage of it.
Be ready to take advantage of your lucky break.

WotD: Lucky break

We all need a lucky break once in a while.

When times are tough, and nothing seems to be going our way, that is just the moment when we have to keep our eyes open for lucky breaks.

Some people say that they don’t believe in luck and that we have to make our success.

They may be correct, but good things have a way of working out for the best.

All we have to do is be ready to take advantage of a situation when it arises.

That way, we can turn an ordinary happening into a lucky break.

A lucky break is an opportunity to have success.

Usually, a lucky break is just a bit of luck you take advantage of and turn into success.

What do you think is happening in the picture?

Now, what do you think happened before this picture was taken?

How did these two women end up in a conference room shaking hands?

This is what I think happened.

The lady on the right has had some bad luck recently.

The owner of the company she worked for was a middle-aged entrepreneur who decided to shut down her company and call it a day.

Even though the lady on the right received a substantial severance package, she had found it challenging to find a new job.

After a few weeks of searching, she became frustrated and thought she would never get a lucky break.

One day, she mentioned her difficulties to a friend.

The friend knew someone who knew someone who was looking for a person to fill a position at her company.

A few phone calls and an interview later, the lady shook hands and accepted a job offer.

She got her lucky break, took advantage of it, and everything worked out.

That’s how it goes sometimes.

Just when you are feeling down on your luck, something happens by chance, and you get a lucky break.
