English Proverb: Look before you leap

Look before you leap or jump.

You should always make sure you know where you are going to land.

It’s also a good idea to ensure that it will be a soft landing.

In other words, consider the consequences of your actions before you act.

Planning is crucial.

If you are a university student and want to change your course of study or quit entirely, what do you plan to do next?

You shouldn’t just float around.

Therefore, look before you leap.

Before you decide to change your course of study, determine what path to switch to and follow.

Make inquiries to determine if the classes you have already taken are transferable and if your tuition will increase or decrease.

We should never make major decisions on a whim.

We should look before we leap; that way, we have a better chance of a soft landing, unlike the guy in today’s picture.
