Proverb: look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves
Well, most of us are back to work, and if you are anything like me, you don’t want to admit it, but you are glad to be back at work.
Yes, I said, I’m glad to be back at work. Time off is nice, but it’s also lovely to be back in the comfort of a daily routine.
Many people like to make resolutions at the start of the New Year.
One resolution that many people make is to save money.
My advice is to look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves.
This means that if you concentrate on saving small amounts of money or reducing your daily spending in small ways, you will be able to save a considerable sum of money.
You know, maybe instead of buying coffee in the morning, invest in a vacuum flask, make your coffee at home, and bring it with you: look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves.
