Idiom: Let your guard down
We all have to let our guard down sometimes.
Like everyone, I, from time to time, feel anxious.
Yes, I know it’s a safe bet that the sun will rise, but what about everything else?
I suppose that we can’t always maintain a high state of readiness.
You let your guard down when you stop being anxious.
In order to relax, recharge and revive yourself, you have to let your guard down.
We have to relax, lie back and put our feet up.
Have you ever heard of the hygge movement?
Hygge is a great way to let your guard down.
Feeling comfy and cozy helps you to recharge, revive and relax.
When I was younger, I was always on the move, looking for something that could hurt me or be a danger.
These days, I’ve learned that I need to have some downtime and relax a little.
