Proverb: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer
Do you have an enemy?
Perhaps you have a frenemy instead?
If you do, you may want to keep tabs on that person.
Maybe you should try to be around them more often than you want.
Why?
Because you should keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
If you do this, you will know your enemy.
You can detect any bad things your enemy may try to carry out before they happen and better protect yourself.
At first, it may not sound right.
You may ask why you should keep your enemies close to you.
But it should make perfect sense if you think about it for a moment.
People with whom you are not friendly may want to hurt you or do you some harm.
Of course, you should know what they will do before they do it.
This is one reason why companies try to keep tabs on their competitors.
It’s a company’s responsibility to be aware of any new products or marketing tactics their competition uses.
Although it may not be fun to be around people you don’t like, it’s the price you must pay to protect yourself.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer is a proverb based on the wisdom of our ancestors.
If you don’t want to learn the hard way, you’ll listen to what our ancestors have learned and take it to heart.
