Jet bridge

A jet bridge is the moveable walkway that connects airplanes to the gates at airports. They're very convenient especially on rainy days.
The joys of modern amenities are limitless. It’s excellent to board without walking across the tarmac.

Word of the Day: Jet bridge

Modern life is full of little amenities, and I include jet bridges as one.

Jet bridges are those moveable walkways that connect airplanes to the gates at airports.

Walking across the tarmac to board an LCC (Low Cost Carrier) is not a problem as long as the weather is sunny and warm, but during inclement weather, it’s a turn-off.

That’s one reason airlines that charge higher prices use jet bridges—you get what you pay for.

We all must pay for conveniences, including the moveable walkways we take for granted at airports.
