Being in your right mind can mean different things to different people.

However, I’m sure that if you have been unfortunate enough this year to have been forced to deal with extremely high summer temperatures, there was more than one occasion when you felt you were not in your right mind.
One of the most significant benefits of being in your right mind is that it allows you to make better decisions.
When we are overwhelmed with emotions or stress, such as that caused by heat, it’s easy to make impulsive choices that we may later regret.
However, being in a calm and clear state of mind allows us to think through our options and make choices that align with our values and goals.
Another benefit of being in your right mind is improving your relationships with others.
We are better equipped to communicate effectively and empathize with others when mentally stable.
We are also less likely to be reactive or defensive, which can help to prevent conflicts and misunderstandings.
It’s important to note that being in your right mind is not always easy.
We mainly discuss this topic when someone is not in their right mind.
Mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma can make maintaining a stable state of mind challenging.
It’s essential to remember that it’s okay not to be okay.
