Phrase: In stitches

Have you ever laughed so hard that you thought you were going to split open? That’s what it means to be in stitches!

And what better time to be in stitches than Halloween, when zombies and mummies are out and about?

Picture this: you’re at a Halloween party, surrounded by spooky decorations and creepy snacks.

Suddenly, the door creaks open and in walks a group of zombies!

Their ragged clothes and pale skin are enough to send shivers down your spine, but then they start to dance.

They’re doing the Thriller dance, and they’re actually pretty good!

You can’t help but laugh, and soon you’re in stitches.

But the zombies aren’t the only ones causing a commotion.

A mummy has also arrived at the party, and he’s brought his own set of jokes.

“Why did the mummy call the doctor?” he asks. “Because he was coffin!”

You can’t help but groan at his cheesy jokes, but secretly, you find it hilarious.

You’re in stitches once again.

As the night goes on, more and more spooky characters arrive at the party.

There’s a ghost who keeps trying to sneak up on people, a vampire with a terrible Transylvanian accent, and even a werewolf who can’t stop howling.

Each one is funnier than the last, and soon, you’re in stitches for the ninth time.

So, if you find yourself laughing so hard that your sides ache this Halloween, just remember: you’re in stitches!

And if you happen to run into any zombies or mummies along the way, all the better.

Happy Halloween!
