In my book, it is a nice little phrase to use to express your opinion.


If I were asked for a travel recommendation, I would say going anywhere is a great experience.

But in my book, Australia and Japan are the most exciting places to visit.

In another situation, such as choosing a candidate for a new job, education is essential.

In my book, however, on-the-job experience is much more valuable and essential than education alone.

In my years of teaching English, I’ve seen many things that would make your eyelashes curl.


This post is understandable by someone with at least a 9th-grade education (age 15).  

On the Flesch-Kincaid reading-ease test, this post scores 57.  

The easier a passage is to read, the higher the score on a scale of 0 – 100.
