English Saying: Good things come in small packages

Good things come in small packages, which is a great little saying to use, especially around the gift-giving and receiving season.

It means that big things are not always the best, and little things are not always bad.

Basically, good things can be small.

The moral of today’s saying is that if you find a small present under the tree tomorrow, don’t be disappointed because good things come in small packages — it could be a ring or, even better, CHOCOLATE!

If you get chocolate on Christmas morning and eat it before breakfast, it’s OK. Santa will be too tired to care and will not put you on the naughty list.
