Phrase: Follow the crowd

In today’s increasingly polarized society, it is becoming more and more difficult for people to think independently.

It is hard to have a different opinion from the majority and be true to yourself.

However, just because being different or original presents a challenge, that doesn’t mean you have to follow the crowd.

To follow the crowd means to do whatever the majority is doing, think what they are thinking, and believe what they are believing.

Choosing to think and act independently in life can be a fulfilling choice.

Yes, it is more challenging, lonely and sometimes scary, but when you are true to your thoughts and not influenced by others, you will find that many benefits come with it.

In life, it is essential to learn how to take the advice and opinions of others with a grain of salt.

Try not to let other people’s opinions cloud your judgement.

You shouldn’t let other people’s beliefs and expectations determine what you do and who you become.

Instead of following the crowd, be confident in your ability to branch out in a different direction.

It doesn’t matter if it seems like other people are all doing the same thing.

It would be best to do what you want to do and what makes you happy.

True, it may sound selfish, but you only have one life to live.

Do you want to spend it following the crowd or doing what you want?

If something interests or excites you, then go for it!

Independent thinkers can do what they love every day instead of following the crowd and being dissatisfied.
