Proverb: Don’t hate the player; hate the game
Have you ever noticed how regular people like us dislike rich people?
I say don’t hate the player; hate the game.
It’s human nature to desire and strive for more money.
Just think for a moment.
The first thing a lottery winner does is celebrate.
Why do they celebrate?
Because money made them happy.
They know that now the weight of debt can be lifted off their shoulders.
If you have money, student loans, mortgages, car payments, and health care costs (if you live in the States) are all a thing of the past.
The problem creating the wealth gap is not people.
It’s in our nature to want more of everything, and the more you have, the more you want: everyone: much craves more.
Forty percent of the population of almost every Western nation is obese.
That should say it all right there.
Don’t hate the player; hate the game means if you are upset with the way a system works, blame that system for enabling people to act the way they do while playing it.
Please don’t blame them.
They are playing by the rules.
The problem is the game is rigged against other players.
Then again, humans tend to take the easy way out.
Changing the system itself is too much of a challenge.
We are content to moan and complain about the people for whom the game was created, yet do very little to stop the situation from continuing.
If the game is flawed, don’t hate the player; hate the game.
Then, do something about it.
