Bromance / Man crush

Two fit-looking men, one on the other's shoulders.
Wait! Before you let your mind go into the gutter, a bromance is a close, non-sexual relationship between two men.

WotD: Bromance / Man Crush

It may be sad to see a relationship break up, but with Abe stepping down as Prime Minister of Japan, there is little chance the Abe-Trump bromance will continue.

The world laughed at it, but I’m sure Trump’s family was happy that he had finally found a friend who visited once in a while.

I wonder if Abe and Trump ever had a sleepover at the White House.

Wait! Before you let your mind go into the gutter, a bromance is a close, non-sexual relationship between two men.

It happens more often than you may think.

At least the Abe-Trump relationship seemed to be a healthy one.

To my eyes, it looks much better than the man crush Trump has on Putin or Kim Jung Un in North Korea.

At least Trump and Abe – or is it Abe and Trump? – did manly things like play golf and eat Colby Jack cheeseburgers together.

What’s more manly than that?

It was a great sign that the boys had such a tremendous interpersonal relationship they could hang out.

Every man needs a bro.

The man crush Trump has on Putin is much more worrisome.

Putin is a dictator who likes to portray himself as strong and tough.

This is everything Trump would like to become.

He’s admitted he admires the strength and power of Putin.

Let’s hope he never gets the opportunity to emulate him.

If we see those two playing golf or eating Cheeseburgers together at the Kremlin, all bets are off.

There’ll be no hope for the free world.

The thought of that makes me long for the days of the Abe-Trump bromance.
