WotD: Breathe easy

Have you received your shots yet? Let me tell you, once you get them, you can breathe easy again.

Everyone has been on edge with this pandemic.

Of course, some people have been walking around unmasked, acting as if they don’t have a care in the world.

When you breathe easy, you feel relaxed and relieved. All your anxiety, stress and tension are gone. You feel released and refreshed.

Most of them, though, have either caught COVID or spent a few miserable weeks suffering with it if it didn’t kill them outright.

I got my shots at the end of the summer and have been able to breathe easy ever since.

When you breathe easy, you feel relaxed and relieved. All your anxiety, stress and tension are gone.

Remember when you were a university student writing final exams or preparing for your dissertation?

When it was all over, and you walked out of the building, you felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off your shoulders.

That’s what we mean when we say we can breathe easy.

Yes, being able to breathe easy is a fantastic feeling. One of the best feelings in the world, I would say.

The problem is, and there is always a problem, that stressors keep coming.

Life is a series of episodes of being under high levels of stress and being able to breathe easy after they have been overcome.

Some call it an emotional roller coaster; I call it life.

Anyways, no matter what is causing you anxiety or stress, I hope you will soon be able to breathe easy.

There is nothing like knowing that all your troubles are behind you.

At least for the time being.
