There’s not much to do when you’re sick in bed except concentrate on getting better.

Word of the Day: Bedridden

Influenza season is just around the corner, and unfortunately, that means some people will contract it and become bedridden.

A person who is bedridden is very sick or hurt and unable to get out of bed.

If a person contracts influenza, it knocks them off their feet so that the only thing they can do is stay in bed.

There is no working, playing, jogging or any other activity of any kind.

Unfortunately, Influenza victims are stuck in bed until they can get over the flu.

Let’s hope you are not confined to your bed by the flu this year.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for both of us.

By the way, have you received your influenza vaccination yet?
