Word of the Day: Bandit

A bandit is a thief who likes to travel in a group, quite often has a weapon, and hides their face when stealing money from people.

Since they like to travel in groups, they often have partners in crime.

If you know about Robin Hood, the folk hero from British history who supposedly lived in Sherwood Forrest near the city of Nottingham, then you have a good image of what a bandit is supposed to be.

Often, bandits spend most of their time hiding and only come out of hiding to rob people, and then they go back into hiding again.
