(As) clean as a whistle

When something is said to be as clean as a whistle it is extremely clean. The countertops in my kitchen are as clean as a whistle.

English Idiom: As clean as a whistle

My desk is always as clean as a whistle, and so is my computer.

I have to admit that I have a very peculiar personality.

I like things to be neat and tidy at all times.

While I’m typing away at my desk, my little buddy Roomba is working away to ensure that my house is as clean as a whistle.

He’s a good little guy to have around, you know.

Those robotic cleaners start work at the same time every day, never ask for a salary increase and go back home when they’re finished.

The only thing I have to do is dump him out before I go to bed.

That’s a small price to pay for a floor that’s as clean as a whistle or extremely clean.
