Around the corner

When you hear someone say that something is (just) around the corner they mean that it will be happening in the very near future.
With new technological innovations around the corner, ‘loss of limb’ will soon be a thing of the past.

Idiom: Around the corner

The days of humans and technology morphing are just around the corner.

When you hear someone say that something is (just) around the corner, they mean that it will be happening in the very near future.

Yes, I believe this to be true.

In the very near future, we will see experiments incorporating technology into human bodies, not just the wearable tech that is prevalent today.

We are well into the era of digital technology.

And we are in the nascent stages of AI replacing jobs traditionally performed by humans.

It won’t be too far into the future before we can attach an arm or a leg made of titanium and silicon while we wait for a laboratory to grow us a new limb or a new heart.

The days of these significant technological leaps are just around the corner.

That will open up a whole new different kettle of fish and moral dilemma.

We can handle it, though, because that’s what we humans do – we move forward.

Steadily and unceasingly – we move forward.
