Word of the Day: Antsy
The world was antsy as the world waited, and now the world knows (probably).
The Donald has won once again.
At least, it seems like he will.
I am writing this post at 3:42 PM on Wednesday, November 4th, Japan time.
By the numbers, Biden is winning, but by the projections, it seems like Trump has it.
We’ve all been antsy about this election, no one more so than the Americans themselves.
All the political prognosticators (predictors) said the worst possible outcome was a close election that came down to the wire.
Well, it certainly is a photo finish!
This election has made us all a little antsy. That means we are all worried, excited and nervous at the same time and not in a good way.
I’ll not deny it; I have been predicting a very close Trump win for a while now.
I thought he would win in 2016, and I saw no reason why he would not succeed in 2020.
Unfortunately, there is no time to relax.
We all have to remain antsy because we genuinely know how the Americans feel.
It’s America first all the way now, and we know what that means – FOUR MORE YEARS.
Canada, Japan, Europe, China, the UN, WHO, NATO and any other international organization will be on the edge of their seats for the foreseeable future.
Americans should be even antsier than the rest of us because all hell is going to break out with the coronavirus.
Put on your facemasks, make sure you have disinfectant spray and antibacterial handwash, fasten your seatbelts, put on your helmets, close the windows, and make sure you don’t miss any health insurance payments.
This is going to get ugly.
