Word of the Day: Antifreeze
Mornings and evenings are freezing in Wakayama at the moment.
There’s frost on the ground on car windshields in the morning, and gloves are a must if you’re walking anywhere.
When you go further north to Aomori or Hokkaido, you need to put antifreeze in your car during the winter.
It’s especially beneficial when you’re in the depths of winter.
Antifreeze is a liquid that prevents an engine from freezing up and bursting at extremely low temperatures.
Of course, parking your car in a hot spring would prevent the engine from freezing, but it still wouldn’t start.
It’s better to leave the hot springs to the monkeys.
