Lesson: Bbbunkers
You’re at home, work or perhaps even out and about, and you hear it – an air-raid siren. What do you do? Where do you go? Have you built or bought a bunker? Do you know where your local bunker is? Is there a local bunker? These may sound like absurd questions if you’re from a generation born after the baby boomers. Boomers remember the duck-and-cover drills of the Cold War as practice for a nuclear attack. From 1947 – 1991, countries in North America and Europe maintained bunkers where governments and citizens could hope to survive a missile or nuclear attack. Some still do. We may be entering an era where personal or communal bunkers will become necessary. Are you ready?
